To start with, I'd like to thank you for offering such a great, helpful plugin for free.
I'm using "external height workaround" in this page to embed a hotel booking system offered by 3rd party, which is working almost perfectly.

Once you click "Allow Multiple rooms" to set "yes", then select some bigger value (like "5") from "Quantity" dropdown list under the calendar, the embedded page expands with Ajax and the bottom of the embedded page is to be cut off.
Would it be possible to avoid this issue, hopefully without adding a plenty of "additional height" in advance?

In the external workaround for external domains of the free version there is nothing you can do. In the pro version is the resize on element resize.
