Hi experts,

I would like to track events on iframed pages using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.

However, it looks like the "triggers" does not work on iframe pages in the normal way.

Is there any best practice around this?

Regards,

Mayumi

Can you check if you maybe need cookies which are not set then? In the browser console you should get messages on the "Issues" tab.

Best regards,

Michael

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Looks like the cookies for the embedded site's domain are successfully saved...

Do you ever heard of cases of events tracking on iframe sites using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics?

When checking your screenshot it looks like there are many affected cookies.

So the events are fired normally if the site is not running in an iframe?
Have you seen posts like this: https://support.google.com/analytics/thread/35313442/google-analytics-blocked-in-iframe-due-to-%E2%80%9Csamesite%E2%80%9D-%E2%80%9Csecure%E2%80%9D-setting-of-cookies?hl=en
