Hi There.

I need to hide the small popout element that allows people to open the iframe content in a new window.  I am showing PDFs, and I don't want people to be able to download them. I looked through the documentation and tried finding an ID that I could use to hide the element, but I couldn't figure it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

can you provide an url or at least a screenshot? I don't know if this element is part of the html or if this is part of the pdf plugin of the browser.

Best, Michael

Hi Michael, I have included a screenshot.  It looks like there are several WP plugins that are based on the Google Viewer and all of them have the same two issues: 1) there is no way to get rid of this Pop Out, and 2) there are a lot of complaints that the plugins load very inconsistently.  This inconsistent loading happens on both Safari and Firefox.

The Advanced iFrames plugin really looks great, but it looks like these issues are more related to the Google viewer and not your coding.

If there are any workarounds, please let me know.

Thanks.

Hi, This part you can hide with:

About the loading you are right. The plugin is relying on the loading of the iframe.... This is browser, server ...

Cheers, Michael
