Problem with Elementor

WordPress site with latest WordPress, Woostify theme and latest Elementor.

Tried the free version of Advanced iFrame & had no problems (although I couldn't actually get iFrame resizing working).

Purchased the Pro Version & I think iFrame resizing is working ok but... Now when I try to edit any pages in Elementor with the iframe shortcode on the page I get an error.

If I open the page in the browser everything seems ok.

I create a new page & edit in Elementor - no problem

Insert Advanced iFrame Shortcode - page shows ok in preview windows

Click on apply to save the page and just get rotating, waiting icon.

If I open in Elementor an existing page with the shortcode on I just get a 'We ran into a problem & couldn't load the page'

If I disable Advanced iFrame I can edit the page again with Elementor & I don't get any error...

Advice please

Hi,

I would need more infos here. Seems elementor is already executing the shortcode and then something is rendererd which cause this to fail. Can you check the Javascript console and provide any errors you see there?

Please also ask in their forum for help. I already had it a couple of times that other plugins where not working properly together because they did not use the Wordpress way to do things.

Best regards,

Michael

The problem is if you set document.location. This has nothing to do with the plugin. It seems elementor is not working when you set this. Therefore you need to use the external workaround with ai_external.js. Then everything is working fine.

I just found out with a different user. And it is already part if the documentation now.

Best regards, Michael
