Hi I recently purchased the pro version as I was interested in sometimes showing only part of the iframe.

I normally choose the advanced iframe as a block choice and then on the right hand side it gives me the options to insert the url and the height and width - which I had with the free version and it works great. Where can I find the way to show the menu as I saw in the tutorials that let me choose the section I want for that iframe?

I thought it would have been on that side menu when I purchased the pro but it isn't.

Sorry if this is a basic question I just haven't been able to figure it out.

Which menu do you mean? Inside WP backend? It is at the same place. Instead of advanced iframe it is now advanced iframe pro.

the area selector is in the normal administration. you go to the main menu -> advanced iframe pro -> advanced tab -> show only  part of the iframe. There is the button for it.

Best, Michael

@admin I apologize for not being clearer.

I attached two photos.

I am in word press editor composing a post.

I add a new block (pic attched)and my choice of blocks id advanced iframe.

I click on that and the settings options come up on the side. I add the appropriate info (url and size) and don't understand how I go from there to find the pro options for that block I'm working on

Ok thank you.
I guess I just didn’t understand when I’m in the advanced iframe normal menu from the main menu bar, how it knows which iframe block in which post I want to apply to settings to.

I’ll just keep looking in that menu how to choose the specific post to use the settings on

@acouplewithoutborders this is very simple. In the main menu are the defaults. All the docu. And in the Gutenberg block you simply overwrite this. the Gutenberg block is only a shortcode wrapper.

so it does not really matter if you use the shortcode gutenberg block, the advanced iframe gutenberg block. you simply set the attributes you like to set there.

so if you like to show a part of the iframe. you can go to the administration. put the things together you like. on the basic tab is the short code generator. and the output there you use in the gutenberg block.

My answer is the same. I have way too many settings to manage this somehow in a Gutenberg block. Therefore you can only add all settings you like there.

So go to the normal administration. There you can use the area selector and use the settings that you get there in the Gutenberg block. You can use the block of advanced iframe or the normal shortcode one. Both are fine.

Gutenberg is very limited with the small right are to configure it. Therefore there is basically a big free input box you can place all short code attributes in.

Best regards, Michael
