Php photo gallery TWG | JFUploader | TWG Flash upload | WFU | Forum

Hi,

I'm now using TWG and I think it's great, but I have a problem uploading files to the server.
When trying to upload a file from the TWGXplorer I get the error "File upload failed".

All directory permissions from the gallery root directory are set to 777 so I don't think this is the problem.

Is safe mode enabled on your system? I try to detect this but safe mode can be configured in many ways and therefore it is quite hard to find the problem.

Have you checked the debug file? (you can see this in the TWG admin!).
normally there is some more information why the upload failed.

maybe the upload fails because of a different reason!
Do you have an url?

This is the message that it outputs every time I try to upload a file:

04.19.2006 9:56:19 - ERROR 2 in /html/galeria/inc/imagefunctions.inc.php, line 31: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource

Hi,

I know about this small error that does not matter because it's only because of a type - it is corrected already in the latest version.

If you like I can send you the latest version with email and you install it on the server somewhere - then you retry and if it does not work you give me access to the admin of this demo gallery and I take a look why upload does not work.

btw. you should delete the folder_de.txt in the pictures folder - this is the german folder description I had in the demo!

Ok we solved it, thanks TinyWebGallery !

The problem was that the php variable upload_tmp_dir was not set. When you set this variable to some existing dir you get it work.
