Hi all
on the main index.php page, there is a left hand vertical bar that has to be clicked to show the list of directories (folders).

See, I have added some text around it but very easy to miss

How can this be left open? Is there a setting?

Also, what happens when a new dir. of images is added, on mine it goes in alphabetically so will usually disappear to page 2 plus, so no visitor would know it was new.

Also, any tips for nav. of a large number of directories, I have a lot already with many more to go on.

I have Google sitesearch which works well, but only if you know it what is there.

Hi,

You can set in the config that the album tree is is open by default. Check the section for registered users in the config.php.

You can sort the folders by date - then the newest appear first. You can even mark new directories automatically.
