Good day everyone.
I set these params in config:
$user_login_mode = true;
$user_login_mode_hide_gal = true;
$password_file=".htuser";
Then, in root pictures folder I created .htuser file with one line "admin". This now make all my installation private.
Next I need to share one subgallery with my friend. I created user "bro", and in subfolder I created file ".htuser" which has text "admin,bro"
But when I open my gallery in a private browser mode and log in as bro, it redirects me to login frame. And I try to log in once more, and more, and more...
If I log in as admin, it works fine.
Please help me to set up user access for subfolder keeping all other galleries in private.
Thanks.

This is not possible. You cannot set lower rights on a subfolder as TWG always checks if the user has access to the parents as well.

Best, Michael
