Php photo gallery TWG | JFUploader | TWG Flash upload | WFU | Forum

I've been trying to setup this gallery for a couple of days now, but I cannot seem to get it working correctly.

I've read other posts with the same/similar issue, but I still cannot get it working.

I switched from Gallery2, because it was way too slow.
My hosting company is 1and1.

No matter what I try, I cannot get the thumbnails to display properly.
Some show, most do not.

I've checked and re-checked my directory permissions, and everything is 0777 where it is supposed to be. I also tried changing the cache folder permissions to 0755.

The only error that I am getting is this:

The first directory should be "private" not "rivate".

Any ideas?

seems your hoster has not installed imagettftext properly or you have not uploaded the font included in the zip.

you can simply turn off the text watermark first.

then if only a few show you might not have enough php memory - check the info.php about the maximum image size your server can handle.

and btw. this is the german part of the forum.

I added an htaccess file and changed the default PHP version from php4 to php5. Then, everything seems to be working OK now.

which php version where you using before?

About the language - you picked the only part that is german - rest is english.

The default PHP version was 4.4.7 and the one that I am using now is 5.2.1. If you want, I can include the configs of both versions.... that would be a large posting though.

I'm using 4.4.7 too - maybe this install was not 100% correct .

It it works now it's fine .

Like I said earlier, my hosting company is 1and1.
I'm sure that a lot of things are not installed properly there!

But for now, I'm staying with them. It would be a major pain to move my sites to another host. Their servers are extremely slow.
