I'm not quite sure when this started but the total hits on my homepage displays as 0, even though the graph displays correctly and the hits today seems to work fine. I've tried changing permissions on counter and xml directories to no avail. Any ideas?

Running on PHP 5.2.4.

You have to delete counter.txt - wait until it is rebuild and then enter your counter with the twg administration.

In the latest dev build I do a backup of this file and restore it when this is the problem. Unfortunately this happens when 2 php instances try to write this file. Normally this should be syncronized but sometimes php screwes up here.

Thanks for your quick response! So will it be rebuilt overnight? And how do I enter the counter? I've no idea what the count was up to but would be interested for future use, but can't find any setting in the TWG admin.

no - the next time you enter the gallery with a new session.

use the twgxplorer - go to the counter directory - edit the file counter.txt and enter whatever you like

Fantastic - now sorted and managed to reconstruct the count using the user_log file. Thanks for your help!
