Hi there;

I've used TWG since 1.6.3 (I have upgraded to 1.7.4), and I only recently decided to try adding users (normally I would just FTP in my own new pictures and then run the cache generator in the administration panel)... but when I try to get a user to login through the frontend, it refreshes the page but doesn't look like anything is logged in. Clicking login again redisplays the login but with this at the bottom:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1048576 bytes) in Unknown on line 0

Do I have something misconfigured?

Does not seem so.

This error message means that php has not enough memory to do something. But a login normally only set a few variables.

After the login the "Login" should change to "Logout" and depending on your rights a couple of menuitems lile "Upload" comes up.

Does this happen with the administrator login as well?

check if you have any messages in the log file counter/_mydebug.out.
And ech login is tracked es well. There is another log file in this directory.
