I just installed all the files to my server.
Initially I got a warning to set the parameters for 'cache', 'counter', 'xml' and the file admin/_config/.htuser.php to read and write (chmod 777). Now the messages don't appear but I only get a blank page.

PHP version is 4.3.10.

Any help is appreciated.

Read the installation instructions ;)

check the info.php.
check the counter/_debug.out

check the faq.

I've been running the gallery at my hosted site and it works fine.
I'm no going to usit in another site I'm working on and have a local installed server to do the developement.

The server is running apache2 and PHP 5.2.3-1

Same happens when I run info.php
But running other phpscripts like

Code:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>
from the same folder works just fine.

And there are no entries in the counter folder nor in the apache or php log files.

I guess there must be some configuration I'm missing here but I cannot seem to figure out what. :(

Should gave quoted the guy abow.

I get only blank pages, no output at all.
I've cchecked the headers returned by the server and it returns errorcode 200 which should be all well. but no code html seems to be generated.

@Orakel: info.php is an easy php page - are you sure php is installed properly? chech you log files if you get any messages if you call info.php

that's what I suspect to.

But it seemd to be all right, until I tried running phpmyadmin then I finaly got an error message that I could relate to.

And it made me do this change in my php.ini

[Session]
; Handler used to store/retrieve data.
; orginal session.save_handler = user
session.save_handler = files

and now it works fine :)

but I'm still a bit unsure why any of the TinyWebGallery pages gave me no error messages.

twg has it's own error file - counter/_mydebug.out
