I really have problems to integrate TWG into Joomla while using the include integration. It seems to me the script will not use the local path or full path to check the directories. I alwas get the error: | The album '' cannot be found and is maybe not available anymore.

Yes, I have set the $php_include and $install_dir

The stand-alone installation runs fine and also the admin works fine, even in include mode.

Did you ever get this working?

I just installed joomla for the first time and the main thing I had to figure out was how to work joomla.

If you're like me and have no prior knowledge of joomla then that's the answer.. I can relay the related joomla info I learned.

However, although I have it working I am not particularly happy with how I've got it displaying so far. I may just end up writing a template for TWG specifically if I am going to put joomla + twg into a production environment.

Ok, it's that easy, taht I got it only by accident

Install Tiny and folow this instructions: http://tinywebgallery.com/en/faq.htm#h2

Then, install the delivered module into joomla: mod_twg.zip
Publish the module and enter the pixel sizes for it.

Activate it and give it a module position you are usually not using, like user7, uder8, etc....

I use user7 for it

Create a static page and enter just a title for this page. That's enough.
Link this static page to the menu you like to get the link be shown.
Edit your Joomla Template and enter just after:

But, this integrates the tinywebgallery also in the iframe mode only. At the moment I can't see any way to integrate the gallery into Joomla, nor with the include() - which would be the easiest way - as long as the full pathes are not defined and used for the file functions.

right now there is no module that includes twg completely - Please use the iframe wrapper like described.

The provided modules are only for the random pictures.

I'm developing a joomla component for the flash uploader right now. Maybe I make a nice component for the gallery as well .
