hey i love this script its greate. i am having a few small problems tho.

i am trying to remove two things to make my site look a little more how i want it. i am bad at explaining these things so here is a pick

Image

i want to get rid of that thin grey border [red]
And all of the buttons circled in blue or at least just the middle one.

also is it possible to link the latest image in a gallery to another site like explained in the FAQ # How to setup a random image on a different site/frame
but instead of a random image the latest or newest image

thanks for the help guys.

P.s Sorry i posted this twice. not sure where it was ment to go

Interesting gray border - this is set in the stylesheet ;).

.twg_imageview {
...
}

Just change it there.

The green one - you cann't -
2 options

1. replace the images in the image folder by white ones (size 1x1 !!)
2. change the coding - but this is not trivial because there is a lot if stuff attached because of the key navigation - I think you could disable the middle on quite easy - it's in inc/topnavigation.inc.php - there is a if around that could be made static (I think i's skip_thumbnail_page but you should not set this in the config because then you loose the tumbnail overview page.)

About linking ... inside a gallery - no - you would have to code that. I have a feature that you can link from one gallery overview to another gallery - this makes it possible to link twg galleries from different servers.

random image is something different.

I deleted the other post ;).

/Michael

btw. it's not guys - it's only me ;).

well then thanks for the help ... err... guy

I'm still getting the little grey border tho :( this is what my style.css looks like

.twg_imageview {
border : none;
vertical-align: middle;
text-align: center;
margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px;

as for the top green buttons i changed the middle ones to a white dot and that worked except it still jumps around in a funny way due to it being affected when rolled over. so if you got time could you explain how to make the if static. cos when i tried it just stuffed up the whole site so i had to change it back.

and no probs about the random image thing it will be pretty easy for me to do manually anyway.

one last problem wich i dont think is something either of us can do anything about.

when i open galleries in firefox the "big navigation bar" only works half the time. it doesnt matter if i have it in DHTML or just normal HTML.

and again thanks fr the help

Hi,

About the border:
Then it's most likely the
div.twg_img-shadow table {
}

But you are not using my defaut border anyway - therefore you must have changed something there already ;).

You have to change the rollover image too. should be that hard to find in the buttons folder.

About the big navigation and only working half of the time - what is half of the time?
And the html solution should work always - no matter what.
The dthml solution scrolls a little bit better in ie than in FF. This I know!

You are using 1.4.2?

check the speed settings!

TWG does detect you connection speed! If your connection is quite slow < 80 k line TWG is using the low speed mode!

In this mode by default the thumbnail bar is deactivated!

you see this in the right lower corner - therei s the bandwidth icon.

If you don't want this behavior you either disable the bandwidth test oder check the config for the low_ .... settings - this are the settings for the low bandwidth.

If you click on the bandwidth ican the speedtest ist resetet and done again!
just try ;).

I've fixed up most of this stuff now but im still having trouble dealing with that middle button. as you can see here.

#removed_broken_link

in firefox it has dissapeared but still appear when you mouse over it.
in IE it appears as a broken link wich is really ugly. i cant seem to edit that coding at all without just completely stuffin the whole thing up

if you could possibly go into a little more detail as to how i could turn just the middle button off thatd be great :D

cheers

1. .twg_imageview - remove the border there

2. set $enable_drop_shadow=false;

have you really set

$enable_drop_shadow=false; ?

I just tested this 5 min ago. With the combination kicking out the css style the border was gone
