Hello,

I have been getting the following errors on a fairly consistent basis and was hoping someone could help me out in getting them resolved. I get them over and over again.

03.05.2008 16:16:27 (en) - ERROR 8 in tpub\wwwroot\gallery\inc\readxml.inc.php, line 940: Undefined index: NAME
03.05.2008 16:16:27 (en) - ERROR 2 in tpub\wwwroot\gallery\inc\readxml.inc.php, line 940: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()

Also - not sure they're related, but I also saw this set of errors one time:

03.03.2008 4:01:47 (en) - ERROR 8 in , line 52: Undefined variable: type
03.03.2008 4:01:47 (en) - ERROR 8 in , line 64: Undefined variable: dataXmlH t t p
03.03.2008 4:01:47 (en) - ERROR 8 in , line 64: Undefined variable: browserXmlH t t p
03.03.2008 4:01:47 (en) - ERROR 8 in , line 64: Undefined variable: browserNoJS
03.03.2008 4:01:47 (en) - ERROR 8 in , line 64: Undefined variable: precachexml
03.03.2008 4:01:47 (en) - ERROR 8 in , line 64: Undefined variable: menuXmlH t t p
03.03.2008 4:01:47 (en) - ERROR 8 in , line 64: Undefined variable: menuXmlAutohide
03.03.2008 4:01:47 (en) - ERROR 8 in , line 66: Undefined variable: type

(Please note that I had to add spaces to the 'h t t p' above due to them being picked up as urls by phpBB and posting restrictions to prevent spam - so there isn't actually any spaces in those letters in my error log)

Appreciate any help you can give me!

I am running TWG 1.7 (licensed)

Thanks,
Jason

The 1st error does normally only come if a xml file is not o.k.

Can you see when the error happens (when you go into a certan folder?).

2.
Someone else had the other errors too. Have you made a full update? Because this variables are actually set the the include before that reads the parameters.
do you have the file mapping.php in the main directory?

Thanks for the reply.

1.) I will have to do some research - I have 150 folders to investigate. I will see it I can figure out which one is causing the issue and get back.

2.) Yes - Just recently I upgrdaded to version 1.7 and used the automated install - but everything went smooth. And Yes - there is a file called mapping.php in the main, but I have not entered anything into it.

Thanks,
Jason

2. can you delete the debug file and check if the error happens again.

i'll add an additional switch to TWG where you can enable enhanced debuging - there the request string will be added too. i'll let you know when this version is available.

I have updated the latest buid and added

$enable_enhanced_debug

if you set this to true you get the request parameters too.

if the
03.03.2008 4:01:47 (en) - ERROR 8 in , line 52: Undefined variable: type

errors happen again this info would be helpfull.

read the version.txt what you need to update.

It is interesting - my version.txt file shows TWG Version 1.6.2; however my TWG Admin login screen and TWGXplorer both show 1.7. And the package that I recetly installed was 1.7.0.2.

Is there a newer one?

And is it odd that my version.txt file did not get updated?

Thanks,
Jason

on the main screens alway the main version is shwon. if you go over the twg logo on TWG the full version is shwon.
And the version.txt seems not to be the actual one. The build from yesterday night is already 1.7.0.4 (Website is not updated yet because the changes I made are not confirmed yet.)

I have upgraded to 1.7.0.5 and am still getting the same errors - but more importantly, now my 'create folder' option under the front end uploader is now gone. I can still add (upload) files into the root gallery folder, but I cannot create new directories with the Flash Uploader (version 2.7 standard edition).

Any ideas for this one?

Also - if I create a new folder through the Admin interface, I have no option to remove the folder through the TFU. So it seems that my ability to create/remove folders through the TFU has disappeared? I just used this feature a few days ago with v1.7.0.2, but now after upgrading to v1.7.0.5 the create/delete folder options are gone. (btw - this is with an account that has 'Frontend Upload' access.

Thanks,
Jason

that's o.k.

In 1.7.0.2 frontend users had a too much permissions! (creating folders was always possible which was not correct.)
I fixed this in 1.7.0.4.
Creating directories needs the highest possible permission you have to set in the backend.
