Had v1.7.5 and got the update to 1.7.6 and when I went
to see the pictures, there is nothing displaying except the following message:

Please select a gallery.

Top Tags | Top 13 | Search
The album '' cannot be found and is maybe not available anymore.

If this a new created directory please make sure not to use a " in the folder name because this a not allowed character in album names.
Please close the browser to delete the session because TWG is caching the direcotry infomation there.

If you came with a direct link please check the directory name.
Please go back to the main page and navigate to the album you are looking for.
No images are uploaded yet.

I am assuming some file might be pointing in the wrong direction with the
the update ?

Any ideas what happened? Pics are still there using the admin but at the public page there is nothing displaying no more.

Thanks!

Never mind, found the problem:
the config.php file was overwritten and I am using a separate php file
integration to an existing web page. So the $INSTALL_DIR =''
was empty instead of the installation dir.

Can this variable be at the my_config.php so it won't be overwrtitten
again when upgrading ?

Thanks!

ALL changes have to be in my_config.php. see http://www.tinywebgallery.com/en/configuration.php -> 3.

I always load config.php first and then my_config.php.
my_config.php does always overwrite the settings in config.php.

So just load config.php in my editor and make the changes and save it as
my_config.php ???

Thanks

No because then you would reload the config again and again because config.php loady my_config.php. You cannot copy the bottom bart where the my_config is loaded.

But I always recommend only to store the changes there. Because then you have your set of changes nicely in one place and you don't have to go through all the parameters again.

this is why my_config.php does already have only the most important settings which are set by the backend.
The link before explains how the config should be done.
