I'm switching hosts and updating to the latest TWG. (uploaded new version replaced my_config.php with customized to me version)

I got this message
You are using a config.php that does not belong to this version.
If you want to upgrade from an older version of TWG please copy your changes form the old config.php to the file my_config.php.

File differenced and tried to update the 1.76 file. Same message.

I'm obviously confused. The date on my old versions show that
config.php is newer than my_config.php

Any road I've publicized them here

make sure index.php config.php and config_internal.php are from the same build (actually all files should be from the same build)

Don't you use the patch to update?

my_config.php does only overwrite settings by the values you set in there.

OK I'm confused by all the configuration files. I think all I edited before was config.php. Which should I edit and what is the difference?

Perhaps I was wrong last night. I found the differences between my old my_config.php and the stock one and changed it to match. This didn't fix my site.

No updater because I'm moving to a new host.
