This may be way too much to ask, but would there be a way to allow users to upload files, create folders, add tags, and give titles to files, but prevent them from deleting tags, titles, folders, comments, and files?

Another question, is there a limit imposed on the amount of tags a file can have or the text-length of the tags? What about comments and titles?

This is a pretty nifty PHP program, it needs more attention then it gets.

Sure there is a way. You simply have to change the coding for the rights .
Only for tags and titles it would be tricky because the input field is the edit field as well. Therefore you would have to make it write only once it is set.

About the length. It is stored in xml. Therefore the length is more restricted what looks good. For program side there is no limit. You would have to add this (e.g. for the comments a text area is used).

Simply recommend TWG. Then it will get more and more attention .

Another question, it seems that users that are allowed to upload only and are not allowed to delete are still able to overwrite files by uploading different files of the same name, how do I prevent this?

you would have to add this feature in the upload file.
