I noticed Tiny Web Gallery in one of the QNAP forums and it looks to be exactly what I need (if I can get it working!). (As an aside it would be great if a QPKG were developed for this, as I'm sure there are a LOT of QNAP users who would like this package).

I've asked on the QNAP board too, as I don't know where the problem might be (or how to fix it!) although I suspect the 8M memory?

1) I get the following error when going to myip/TinyWebGallery/index.php

Fatal error: Call to undefined function checkFullscreen() in /share/MD0_DATA/Qweb/TinyWebGallery/index.php on line 92

2) when I check myip /TinyWebGallery/info.php I get:

Hi,

1. reupload the inc folder - this is a function from TWG. Seems it is not uploaded completely.

2. check if the cache, counter and xml folder has all permissions.

btw. 8 MB php memory is very, very, little.

Thank you for your reply. I'll re-upload that folder. I agree 8M seems low - I will edit php.ini to increase it to 32M ... presuming there isn't some reason I shouldn't? (new to php). Ideally I'd like to have TWG provide small video cam .mov files online too. Is 32M sufficient? Too much?

Again, thank you! I hope to get this working!

Thank you, Michael. I'm a newbie, so I hope you have some patience as it still isn't working. I managed to increase memory to 32M and that still says don't use large images. What memory size is typical?
- Memory limit O.k. but don't use large images (32M)
- Max resolution ~ 2276 x 1709

I re-uploaded the inc folder. It has 45 items (1 hidden) and 547.4Kb - seems to match folder in zip file? (TWG 177)

I chmod 777 the 3 folders and checked permissions. This is what I have:

[/share/Qweb/TinyWebGallery] # ls -ld cache
drwxrwxrwx 2 admin administ 4096 Jun 1 22:24 cache/
[/share/Qweb/TinyWebGallery] # ls -ld counter
drwxrwxrwx 2 admin administ 4096 May 31 19:17 counter/
[/share/Qweb/TinyWebGallery] # ls -ld xml
drwxrwxrwx 2 admin administ 4096 May 31 19:18 xml/

Other than the change to memory, same problems persist - ERROR UPLOADING IMAGE - Can you give me any more help or pointers, please?

In order for TWG to function correctly it needs to be able to access or write to certain files or directories. If you see "Unwriteable" you need to change the permissions on the file or directory to allow TWG to write to it. Please check how-to 1 on the web site for good security settings!

32 is o.k. - it's just because images from e.g. a 10 megapixel camera cannot be process directly.

you still get the 1). error ?

Yes, I still have the errors as before, except memory level is now yellow instead of red.

Not sure what to look at next as I've checked permissions on those folders and the inc folder?

For 10M camera what should memory be - now that I know how I can adjust it up to that level :)

Thank you for your help - very much appreciate it!

the memory you need depends on the resolution. the info page does normally show how much is the maximum.

have you checked the logfile? counter/_mydebug.out ?

There doesn't appear to be any file in the folder counter/_

Maybe that is the problem?

no file at all?

Then I think your permissions are still not o.k. - maybe the owner is a problem.

No, nothing in the folder (at least what I can see here, unless it is hidden somehow).

I pasted in the permissions I had on those 3 folders earlier. Are there other permissions I will need to look at? I think the problem is definitely the owner - me! :) Here are the permissions I have:

[/share/Qweb/TinyWebGallery] # ls -ld cache
drwxrwxrwx 2 admin administ 4096 Jun 1 22:24 cache/
[/share/Qweb/TinyWebGallery] # ls -ld counter
drwxrwxrwx 2 admin administ 4096 May 31 19:17 counter/
[/share/Qweb/TinyWebGallery] # ls -ld xml
drwxrwxrwx 2 admin administ 4096 May 31 19:18 xml/

I used the latest version (at least I thought it was) in the zip file - version 177.

Actually I took at look at the index.php file and it has the following version information:

TWG version: 1.7.7.2

$Date: 2007-05-17 01:16:29 +0200 (Do, 17 Mai 2007) $
$Revision: 56 $
