I am running TWG under Windows 7 Ultimate, and it runs fine.

I checked the install and it says "Image Magick not supported"

I downloaded and installed Image Magick, and still doesn't recognize
it.

I looked for some kind of config option so TWG could find it, but found none.

Is there something special I have to do?

The Image Magick program directory IS in the path environment variable.

Just in case, I put convert.exe into the TWG directory as well.

None of which work.

The config option for image magic is in the config.php.

Ok, I found 2 entries in config.php...

I copied them and pasted them into my_config.php.

And it still doesn't work.

I even went as far as copying the entire image magick folder to
the root to see if that would fix it, but it did not.

I uploaded TWG to my linux server and it sees image magick fine,
so it has to be some config option for windows, maybe php?

I use Apache/PHP/MySql on my servers.

Anyway, I fixed it. I don't know if it's a bug, but apparently TWG doesn't
like spaces in the path statement or command line when running in windows, like "c:\program files\".
Also in the admin section where you set the, title bar/Site name, it doesn't
like commas or apostrophes, when I put an apostrophe, it wouldn't load the page.

I simply copied the image magick files to root, then deleted all
spaces in the path, so it looks like "c:\imagemagic\convert.exe" and walla! it worked.

It was tough to figure out because everything looked right, but I knew that
after I tried it on my linux server, and it worked, it had to have something to do with windows. Possibly just windows 7.

You can check it out here if you like:
#removed_broken_link

If you notice, the site name has no apostrophe.

On one last note...

After using this software for a few hours, I think it is by far the best
Image Gallery I have tried yet, and I've tried a few.

thanks,

Spaces and aphostrophes are always a little problem here because I have to pass this to the command line. So if I convert this the command line does not work properly and the other way around.

Best is always simply to put the convert.exe to the path under windows that TWG can use "convert" as command.

but I'll take a look at the title bar...

Now, I've run into a slight problem.

I want to put background images on each page, which I did successfully.

However, one of the pictures I put was too dark, so I changed it and
now, even after clearing all cache (including in firefox), it will load the
new picture at first, then after going anywhere else and coming
back to that page, the old dark picture comes up.

I am almost sure all the cache is deleted, but it keeps coming back.

any suggestions???

Do you use dynamic backgrounds?

then the image is cached in the cache folder. Click on the bandwidth icon to delete such files..

Sometimes the browser cache or a proxy can cause this as well. Try shift reload then...

Nevermind...

I fixed this one too...

I had to go to the TWG cache area by FTP and physically delete
the cache.

Now all is fine again.

Whew!

I will try clicking on the bandwidth icon next time. ;)

Thanks for all your help though.

Thank you for all your help...

I realize I am running linux/unix software on Windows, and
it's quite different.

But within the limitations of Windows, I think I have it going ok.
