Hello,

Thanks for this great piece of software! I am diving in and I've done pretty well, except for one snag. I am trying to upload folders with .mp3 extensions in them. Basically, they will have about 5-6 photos apiece, and a .mp3 file with them. In the config.php file it looks like it is possible...

My TinyWebGallery operates in a sub-folder on my server called "songs". So, I'm wondering if I need to alter this part of the config file:

$other_file_formats=array("avi" => "buttons/wm_avi.png", "mpg" => "buttons/wm_mpg.png","mpeg" => "buttons/wm_mpg.png", "gif" => "buttons/wm_gif.png", "pdf" => "buttons/wm_pdf.png", "mp3" => "/songs/buttons/wm_mp3.jpg", "divx" => "buttons/wm_divx.png", "png" => "buttons/wm_png.png", "wmv" => "buttons/wm_avi.png", "wma" => "buttons/wm_avi.png");

Any help is greatly appreciated!

No this is working fine with mp3. This would make it possible do download the mp3. The only "problem" is that one image does always relate to one mp3. If you like that every thumb is like a download you have to have the mp3 a couple of times (or generate symbolic links if you can .).

I', working on 1.5 right now where embeded video and a embeded streming flahs mp3 player will be included too.

I think 1.5 will be release end of this month .

Its great to hear that you are developing the abilitiy to play them within the gallery, I think this will work well for our purposes. Perhaps I should be a little more specific with my issue...

I am using TWG for an art project in which participants are going to sing a karaoke song. The machine will take pics of them singing and record their song. Users can then look up their song and photos through the TWG. I have a test case uploaded here:

There is an mp3 file in with the photos that is not showing up as an icon. Do I need to configure it?

I also need to ask you about being able to search for a folder, but I'll start a new thread on that!

Yep - read howto 26 I think about this issue. You have to provide a jpg that is shown for the mp3 - e.g. song.mp3 a thumb call song.jpg.
Then a watermark is rendered on this thumb and you can download the mp3 by clicking on the big image.

I think the embeded player can be integrated - but in a different way you might expect. because you cannot mix images and embeded filetypes in one single folder. TWG cannot tell the difference right now.

But I think for your purpose its even better to use the image.txt to provide a download button or whatevery you like. read howto 28 about this.

Searching for folders would be a new feature .

Searching for folders was done anyway internaly quite often. I have extended the search for the feature to search for folders too in the frontend .

I even implemented a "jump directly to the result if you have only one hit ".
