sorry if this is a silly question but are gif files supported? i added one to my pictures folder recently and it doesnt seem to show up in the gallery.

Hi - gif is not supported by default in 1.5.5 - But it is available in 1.6 by default.
(.gif support was gone in gdlib for a while).

check back in the forum end of this week. I'll maybe release a beta this week in post it in an extra section. 1.6 Is basically done - Only the translations for many lanugages are missing.
If you don't need them or simply translate your language (only 17 lines) you can already use this version.

The final release will be most likely in ~ 2 month because the work that is left is the new documentation, website ... (and I have vacation for 3 weeks .)
