Hello

I've managed to integrate twg into my excisting webpage by reading the howto's - great support !

But I'm totally confused about the flash uploader situation!
As I understand it I can give my users the abillity to upload their own material via a "flash uploader" embedded into a webpage, right?

I've extracted it and uploaded it:
kunstnergalleriet.dk/fragtmanden/tfu.htm

What do I do now????
There's both a twg flash uploader AND a Joomla flash uploader??? do I need both or just the one? I'm confused !

first you should think about what you want to do - The Flash uploader is already integraed in TWG.

The TWG Flash Uploader is the standalone version you can integrate into your site for whatevery you want it.
and the joomla flash uploader is the integration of the twg flash uploader into joomla - therefore is you are using joomla you should use the joomla flash uploader.

ok thanks. That clears up a lot for me !
I've been reading the installation text for twg installer, and I just don't get it?
How do I include? By using "include code" in the page or?

I think I just realized something kind of silly...

I thought I was supposed to "install" something - like with the twg and other forums etc. - I thought theres was some kind of functionallity that had to be enabled, so I uploaded the folder to the server and called the tfu.htm ...and then I got confused.

Now I just realized that I ofcause only have to drag the flash file into my webpage like any other flash I wanna put on my page !!!!
...I feel stupid !

...however.... it says I'm not authenticated....

continue thinking - this is a flash that comunicates with the php files that comes with the flash - of course you cannot put the flash somewhere and expect it to work.

you already had it working in your first link - whats your problem - for what do you want to use it?

Hello

I don't know any programming so all this is not logical to me at all.

Ok so I can't just drag the flash file into a webpage, got it.

I just realized that after choosing the "transparent" skin under admin, the small menus has almost disappeared, so I never noticed there was an "upload" menu there. I need a skin that has white background, but where the menus are visible.

I'm guessing I simply use the upload menu at the gallery on my page? I have to figures out how to change it to black text again so I can see it.

Sorry for being a complete newbie on programming, I'm really a musician :D

use no skin - without a skin the gallery looks like http://www.tinywebgallery.com/demo/

the uploader is fully integrated - and yes - you are no programmer ;).

ok "no skin" for now. Later I think I wanna remove the grey frame around twg, or change the text to black in "transparrent".

I bet it came as some surprise to find out I was not a programmer ?
