Php photo gallery TWG | JFUploader | TWG Flash upload | WFU | Forum

I downloaded and installed JFUploader on Joomla version 1.5.20. I followed instructions via the video tutorial.

When I select Components/JFUploader/Upload, the Upload screen is blank on a Macintosh (OS 10.6.4, latest firefox and flash) It is also blank on Opera and Safari. No directory names show and no UI text for the buttons.

I would've posted and image but for some reason I'm not allowed. The error message displayed something about preventing spam

On windows ie8, it appears as it should.

do you get a Javascript error on mac?

No Javascript errors but I did notice in the Info/Limits/Register pane an ERROR 8 but I reinstalled again and that disappeared. The uploader is still blank however.

I have attached an screenshot from the mac. Notice the status at the bottom of the screenshot, "Transferring data from..." That status message does not go away. Perhaps a connection to the blank screen problem?

Notice the "Resize" select box. I clicked on it and you can see that it is blank as well. It all is functional though.

The strange thing is that even the text on the button are not there.

You have not changes the text color of the flash?
And does something happen, when you change the language?

Which css:
administration/components/com_jfuploader/jfuploader.css
or
components/com_jfuploader/jfuploader.css

Which style... .jfu_button for example?

Also, what style controls the width of the uploader window?

the flash itself does NOT use this css - this css are for the jfu administration or the jfu frontend include.

The size can be set in the profile settings.

I cannot change the language because there is only one choice.

Well, I tested the site on another mac and it works fine. Sorry for the trouble.

There is obviously something on my machine that is causing blank screen on the flash uploader.

When I discover the problem, I'll post the solution.
