You had mentioned a post before that with 32-BIT PHP it is limited to I think you said 2GB for an upload...3GB was = to -1GB.

Now I've tried to see a 64-bit version of PHP but there doesn't seem to be an official 64-BIT PHP out there....this is a correct observation right? Or do you know of a 64-BIT PHP? I believe in that post you had mentioned that I would have to use a 64-BIT PHP install but there doesn't seem to be one out there....if there is one please point me to it because I didn't see it on php.net.

there is no official build as far as I know.

But uploading files > 2GB - there you should use a better protocol than html based uploads...

Well I downloaded the x64-bit version you gave me...

It is interesting that php.net doesn't tackle an idea like this themselves, but I suppose the majority of the people using PHP don't really need a 64-bit version...

Well there is a text file in the download if the windows binary version...

It would seem as though it doesn't play nice with IIS FastCGI...

Doesn't seem like this is worth the trouble of only MAYBE being able to upload >2GB......thanks for the link though...

I suppose I know that I should use better than html based protocols but I guess it was easier to go with the uploader as it performs all the tasks I want it to.

No worries...2GB will have to do.
