Dear men and women of this forum,

I am using Joomla 1.7 and the (registered) JFU component, though at uploading i get the Html - Error 500 message. I turned on the debugging options and the tfu log gives the following:

I don't see any error code or what so else, and so do not know how to go further with this problem. I can make folders, though can't seem to upload a file. So what to do now?


This is my server info
PHP upload limit (in KB): 8192
PHP memory limit (in KB): 32768
Max. resize resolution: ~ 2603 x 1955
PHP max input time: 60 s
PHP max execution time: 25 s
Default socket timeout: 60 s

You have to check the server log file (not the one from JFU).
Most likely the permissions of your file are not allowed by your server.
You can try different permission in the help/register page.

Oke I set permissions to 777 from the help/register but that didn't seem to change anything. Also I accessed my error_log file via PLESK and it told me this:

Can you see what possibly the problem is, cause I as unexperienced error log reader can't.

create the .htaccess file on the upload page.

this does what is described in the howto at c) -> 1

This disables mod_security. If you server does not allow this by .htaccess please ask you hoster to do this for the tfu directory of JFUploader.
they are able to do this but don't like this very much ;).
