I have been using JFU flawlessly for a long time, but after having recently updated Joomla to (currently) 2.5.14 and also Akeeba AdminTools Pro to the latest version, I have encountered some issues with JFU. Parallel to the mentioned updates, I have also moved the TFU folder from admin to site – so I am a bit lost as to what might cause the problems, which are:

1. The Upload flash is not showing in admin (it is blank).
2. On the plugins page in admin it states that I have no plugins installed (I have several)
3. The upload/download log no longer registers file uploads/downloads/deletions

Are you able to advise what might cause my issues and what I should do to fix them? Thanks a million in advance.

have you tried to move the tfu folder back to the admin and retried?
Some plugins might not work in the site because they have to be adopted to work there.

I don't have the 2.5.14 version running yet. I will update and see if there is a problem.

Joomla 2.5.14 works fine for me. But when movign the tfu folder to the site they are not shown on the plugins page anymore.

But the flash is displayed like it should.

I did it through the hosting control panel by adding a private directory /administrator requiring a login to get to the login page. It's a standard practice and has been recommended as one of the things to do to combat the latest brute force attacks.
