Hello

Do you plan to add a parameter in order to allow the resize of images larger than the size and not all images.

ie at present it seems that if we put for example 800 and enable the resize option , all images uploaded are resized to 800.

what would be good it to have an additional parameter like force resize for image smaller than 800: yes no.

it would allow to resize the images which are larger than the specified size. but not resize to 800 the images which are smaller to avoid distorsion.

at present, on a project we need to have this resize option set because users upload large images (several mbs) and we want to keep only images not bigger than XXX pixels for example. but for users uploading smaller images than the specified size, it would be better to keep the image size as uploaded.

There is not switch. Currently images are only resized if an image is bigger than the size given:

image: 2000x1000 - parameter 800 - image is resized
image: 1000x600 - parameter 800 - image is resized.
image 700x500 - parameter 800 image is not resized.

So exactly what you want. Only keep in mind that height and width has to be smaller.

Best, Michael

you use the normal resize by selecting a value from the dropdown.
I'll test tonight if something has changed in this area.

in the config i added only one size. (due to the project requirements), ie the dropdown has only one choice 1200.

we use the latest pro version for joomla 2.5 on the site.

the project requires that we do not give the choice to users : there is only one size thus no choice possible in the dropdown.

we were hoping that if a user tries to upload for example an image of 2400x1400 pixels , the uploader would resize it to 1200 pixels (proportionally)
on the other hand, if the user tries to upload an 125x125 pixels image, the image would not get resized to 1200x1200 pixels-.

I cannot reproduce this.

can you please enable the upload debug and show in the log which output is there after an upload.
And if possible the settings you have in the config for the size

Best, Michael

btw. you can also hide the dropdown if you only have one entry.
