Hello

Installed JFU on Joomla 3.2 (also tried 3.0.2) - Everything works well in back end including flash uploader.

Front end: Followed exact steps in Video tutorial - added menu item with Profile ID 2 but on the front end when clicking on the menu item I created, I constantly get error:

"Not Found

The requested URL /file-sharing was not found on this server.
Apache Server at xxxxf.org Port 80"

Purchased PRO edition license as well - still same issue. Any ideas please?

Thanks

Cliff

Update:

I wonder of this has something to do with the "Alias" of the menu item. If i copy the URL link from the edit menu item, and past that into the browser, voila! it goes straight to the JFU front-end screen/auploader (see image below).

Hope this helps to try and solve the issue.

Cliff

Hi,

has this solved your error? Because this looks like to me that something with the url mapping in general does not work. Can you create menu entries with other components that work?

Best, Michael

No it did not solve the error. This is a clean install, no sample data, and the only external component is JFU. Other menu items work fine.

As a work around I went into the database and pasted the link into the "Path" field to force it to work - see below

But you should check your setup

Create an account
Forgot your username?
Forgot your password?

does also not work. Seems you have seo optimization enabled but you don't use the .htaccess file for it!

Best, Michael

Michael

How stupid of me, I am so sorry for wasting your time. I never touched SEO - just installed and expected it all to work...

Please do delete this post from the forum if you don't mind - its silly!

Thanks a lot

Cliff
