My site has HTTPS enabled, through a iThemes security plugin for some pages.

The pages which have iFrames are not https, while wordpress admin dashboard is https.

Since the dashboard is https - the ai_exernal.js gets generated with https. Then on the page (a request page is http) it shows that Cross-origin request from https domain is refused.

Nothing seems to work to resolve the https issue, and until ai javascript and domain name are coming from the same origin - the external workaround doesn't seem to work.

You should not include http pages to https pages as this is blocked already by many browsers completely.
See http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/iframe-do-not-mix-http-and-https

Including insecure content into a secure page should not be done and many browsers do not allow this anymore.

Best, Michael
