Hello

As I allways looking to ways how to optimize something and reducing resources ussage, I have another idea.

Current gallery sistem looking for images images in specified folder, than create image thumbnails and smaller images in cache folder.

It would be great If we could have option to turn off caching of big images, because it would spare allmost double of server space which gallery occupies.

If big images are allready at desired size, there are no purpose to have doubled em in cache directory.

What are you think?

Cheers
:D

Great idea - but already implemented :).

set $resize_only_if_too_big

to true ! if you images small or equal $small_pic_size the smaller images are not created! Read the documentation after this parameter for some more details.

but watermarks are not created then !! you have to do this by yourself if you want some ...
