I would like to see a new option for users logged in and in the directory they have edit permission for. When they click on the Edit link (v. 1.8.5 preview) under the Captions box would be a Note box in the same style as the "Folder description" box except maybe wider.

Stuff entered into that box would Not be centered. It would display under a Caption (if used). It could be used to entering biographies or stories & other stuff about the photo to cumbersome to put in the Caption.

The width of what displays could be set in config ...
$user_note_width = 75; // value=percent

This is very specific. You can use image.txt (see the howto) for a more general solution.
