Hi Michael,

I have another idea is what if user can add a album comment and not just for individual photo.
Lot of my friends to ask me where to add his comment as a whole for the album?! I just to say not yet this function in my web gallery at this moment. Sorry!

So this is a good function and feature to let TWG users to enjoy with friends.

perhaps this is one of your consideration item for next version. Thank you!

This feature is already there. folder.txt. this can even be edited by the user in the frontend.
And if you enable it this text can be displayed not only on the thumbnail but also on the detail page as well.

Well, I think this is not a desired function and effect in front-end edit user ( folder.txt ) to allow them to add album comment.
So if anything I got wrong, please correct me and teach me how to do it well.

I’ve tested this function and found it just shown I can edit on the top gallery page only, if I click inside one of my album, I can’t do edit ( folder.txt ) in an individual album because of no Edit item to shown in this album page.

However, actually user do not need to know and show my caption within the album edit text box and if they insert wrong text and saved.
It will be shown an unknown characters in page and as a gallery master, I don’t want to see this to be happened again and again.

They just want and need to add his own comments for targeted album and without changing the current album captions added by gallery owner at all.

Finally, I guess user don’t want to see the edit text box details include format coding. To make it simple, the function may have ability to let user add words, no coding are required to show for them but of course if the text box have text format function to let user choose is good enough for them.

I have now read your text 3 times and don't understand it.
If you are on the detail page you can edit the album text (folder.txt).

It's just that someone who is allowed to edit captions can also edit folder.txt
If users are allowed to upload you can allow them to upload folder.txt as well and
edit them directly in the flash as well.

And for the detail page there actually image.txt can be used. You simply have to allow
to upload this file to the folder. The advantage of image.txt is that you can define
several places for this (top, bottom, left/right).
There is a big howto about this as well.

, this is absolutely a communication problem in different place on earth., Just kidding …
I knew I can allow user to do such things on it ( folder.txt & image.txt ), but I don’t want they have much more permission to do more than they needed.

Honestly, I just let user to write down all they want to say through the first login page or detail page for comment for each album. But current result is not true. Now, I don’t get it what you say already have this function inside TWG, maybe we have a different point of view for particular function.

Anyway, this is a good discussion for about how to improve user experience to use TWG at all, I guess so.
