Hi,
I would like to include an iframe that will show a particular gallery folder.
Moreover, I would like the flash thumbnail viewer to show up.
I'm trying to set up a demo site before registering (15 euros).

Basically an existing html site has two sections, and each section has a gallery.
When I view the page, the iframe will display the respective thumbnails in the flash viewer.

Currently, I do not see a flash thumbnail strip, I only have the DHTML thumbnails displaying.

How do I show the flash thumbnail viewer, and have it show a particular folder of images?

Thanks very much!

You would like to use the flash thumbnail strip on an external html page?

Please check the addons page:
http://www.tinywebgallery.com/en/addon_extensions.php

There I show how to use the flash on an external page. You can try this without registration so play around ;).

Of do you simply want to shown the thumbnail flash? Then switch to it in the options or in the configuration.

Well, I'm not having any luck showing the flash thumbnail viewer.
It shows up when I place the example in the gallery folder, but if I place it in a different folder and change the var twg_install_root to the gallery's folder, nothing appears.

Regardless, I wish to control which gallery is shown through which iframe.
Even if the flash does not work, I still wish to have two separate galleries controlled by the same back end if possible.

So there's gallery1, and gallery2, but you cannot reach one another using the gallery interface, they are only viewable through the respective pages.

Is this possible?

Thanks very much!

LOL!
Sorry, I was trying to clarify but it's really hard.

I want to have one back end and multiple galleries.
Each iframe on each page would refer to a single gallery and the galleries would be independant of one another.

So:

One back end, two pages. Each has an iframe, each iframe is a folder of the gallery. Each gallery is independent of each other meaning a user only sees the one gallery.

Also:
I just realized that when I use the flash thumbnail viewer, clicking to view the picture still takes me to a DHTML gallery. Is there any way to simply have the lightbox pop up from the Flash thumbnail viewer?

Thanks very much Michael, your help in this is most appreciated.

you can use the multi root mode. This means the first subfolders look like the main folder. So you only have one gallery. One Backend but subfolders look like independent galleries.

With the lightbox this is more complicated because lightboxes go through the existing code and "zoom" one of the links.
The flash does execute the value that is sent from the gallery to the flash.
So you would have to modify the sent value to e.g. a Javascript call. Then in this call you have to dynamically set a link and then initialize the lightbox code...

I'll have to explore the multi root mode then.
I assume it details how I assign an iframe to show a particular folder?
I actually have not anything to that effect as yet.

Insofar as the flash to lightbox bit goes.. I'm a bit confused, or maybe just unsure of the procedure required to successfully perform the configurations necessary. Is there a How To for this, or a forum post I can refer to?

Thanks very much, Michael!
