Hiya

I have been trying to create an automated gallery which read my folders and auto created thumbs and hyperlinks for months.

Then I stumbled over your script ... which I have to say is truly awesome!!

I love it ... works a treat ... and once cached is fantastically quick. It does everything I wanted and a whole lot more, like rating, voting, etc...

Apart from some minor tweeks and getting to know the program more intimately, there is 1 major thing I want to do.

How do I change the DHTML thumbnail scroller, so that it goes vertically down the left hand side instead of along the bottom of my pictures. Is this something you have already built, or do I need to get into the code.

I am not a programmer at all ... so wouldn't know where to start!!

You might want to have a look at my site when you get a chance... several thousand photos!!

Cheers
Andre

Hi,

The scroller script is quite heavy like it is right now - sorry - right now you would have to change this by yourself - but belive me - it's not trivial -

the file cmotiongallery.inc.php creates the dhtml strip + the Javascript for the movement itself.

I haven't tried to change the orientation of the strip yet.
you would have to define a new viewport and then add the pictures in the right orientation! And then you would have to change the cmotion javascript (which sould not be that hard ;).)

/Michael
