hello twg,

translating is not just taking the original English file (language_en.php) and line by line translating it into my language. It also needs context - dialogs, some comments. In a way it could be helped by trying to execute each every case but I'm not sure I would do it :roll: .
Is there something to use?
For example, where and why $lang_email_menu_user appears? --ok, it seems I did understand this one.

It's very hard to tell you a way to test all translations.

Which language are you translating TWG to?

Latvian. Actually, I'm going over existing translation which I do not like somehow :roll: , - no special characters, some words and expressions I would like to say otherwise, and there are mistakes also, in my opinion.

please, help with the following:

1) $lang_kommenar_php_enter_name - is it or is it non max 30 chars? (_en says nothing, _lv says 30)
$lang_kommenar_php_comment - is it or is it non max 150 chars?

2) $lang_back_topx - when does this appear?

3) $lang_open_all - what?

4) $lang_register_security="Security image is not valid."; - how is it possible?

5) $lang_root_mode_access='Main access is not allowed in multi root mode.'; - sorry?

6) $lang_mobile='Mobile mode'; - mobile phones?

7) $lang_overview = "To the overview"; - is it an error or what? Now it seems it is an arrow upper middle, and it works ONLY AS "up" = go up one level.

?? I don't know the limits of the input fields. You have to check

When you click on an image in the topx at the top in the middle.

3) $lang_open_all - what?
In the album explorer

If you enable captchas when entering comments

Ther is a special mode "multi root mode" where you canot access the main page - you have to access subdirectories directly.


6) $lang_mobile='Mobile mode'; - mobile phones?


Yes - TWG does e.g. detect if you connect with an iphone and disables some features that does not make sense on a small display. This is the tooltip on the bandwidth icon.

1) - ok. It was there in _lv file, I can delete it.
2) hmm, is it possible add here some piece of screenshot?
3) but open "what"? what is it that is opened (and closed)?
4) enable captchas - I must look what it means. Why I wondered - because security image is generated from the server, so what it has to do with the poor user?

No - just to go back to the top x - just follow the link.

yes.

Up is fine - in early version TWG only was supporting one directory level - so up was always the overview page.
