Hi Michael,

for some reasons our website runs with charset iso-8859-1. So I changed under /album/admin/_lang/de.php from utf-8 to iso-8859-1 but comments appear as ü ä ö instead of ü ä ö

you have to change the encoding in ALL used language files as well! It is the first entry in each language file.

Hi Michael,

- I changed in all files utf-8 to iso-8859-1 in the /_lang/ directory
- deleted the session cache
- wrote a new comment with umlauts

but this didn't change anything

You changed this isn the backend - this does not help ;).

You have to change it for the frontend = 'language' folder.
