Hi all, I have an unlimited domain license, and as i do with databases and the like I would like to move them outside the website folder. If i place the license file outside the web folder where TWG is installed, where can i find the code to let TWG know where to find the file? This is on a windows 2003 server and is working quite well but would like to keep my license in one location and access the one file with domains using the gallery hosted on the same server.. hope this is possible,, any support and or directions where to look would be greatly appreciated -- please no OS wars :)

thanks
chuck

I don't understand what the location of the license file has to do with it?

everything,,,, under the right conditions the license file can be read by anyone with some basic understand and the name of the file,, hence they can create a copy and use the gallery as if they purchased the license, second i can install the gallery on multiple domains on my server and reference the same license file which is located outside any public area and not have to create the same file for each installation....

it's quite complicated to do this. It is done at a couple of places.

you can secure the folder with a .htaccess file.
