I'm new, new, new. I have a Joomla (1.15.x) installed and running on an XAMMP (Apache + PHP) box and tried to install this component following the instructions in the video. I got all of the "success" messages, but when I click Components, Joomla_Flash_Uploader, Upload I get a bunch of messages similar to the subject. The actual message is; Deprecated: Function ereg_replace() is deprecated in C:\xampp\htdocs\joomla15\administrator\components\com_joomla_flash_uploader\tfu\tfu_helper.php on line 574

Deprecated: Function ereg_replace() is deprecated in C:\xampp\htdocs\joomla15\administrator\components\com_joomla_flash_uploader\tfu\tfu_helper.php on line 575

The message alternates between 574 and 575 for several iterations.

The component does seem to function properly other than the displayed messages. Anything I can do to get rid of them?

which version of jfu do you use? And where is this message displayed?
Because in the latest version this should not be printed to the log file.

Thanks for your reply. I installed jfu_2104_J15.

The message is displayed when I click;

Components, Joomla_Flash_Uploader, Upload. There are a bunch of these messages displayed on the screen. As I scroll down past the messages (maybe 20 of them), I can see the the result of the screen click amongst all of these types of messages. I can browse to a file on my system and then upload it using the component. So, the component functions, but all of these messages are displayed.

I uninstalled the component and reinstalled and still have the issue. I've rebooted as well.

your warning level is too high ;).

Please redownload the component from the website. I have replaced the function.
