Hi Michael,

I'd like to set up a my_tfu_config.php file for cutomizations. Unfortunately I can't quite figure out the format. I tried copying different pieces such as the header from my_config.php from TWG but that didn't seem to work. Is there a file that I can use as a template or instructions on how to start one from scratch?

it's a simple php file where you overwrite the settings from tfu_config.php.

Check JFU or TWG - they both have a quite large my_tfu_config.php because there I set a lot of stuff dynamically.

OK, I found it, but I have a few questions:

I assume that it is a matter of adding variables or changing existing ones in the "TFU CONFIGURATION" section. Or, should I just add my own settings at the bottom whether they already exist or not?

If I am supposed to edit what is already there, most of the existing variables are set to another variable. Do I replace the second variable with my own value?

And out of curiosity, what is the "here we set the delta for the frontend" section doing?

If there is documentation on this somewhere, feel free to direct me to it rather than rehashing it all here.

Now that I've said all that, I think I figured out my problem. My "from scratch" my_tfu_config.php file needed the PHP wrapper ( <?php . . . ?> ). So the questions above could all be prefaced by "Out of curiosity" now. It would still be nice stuff to know.

you can do there what you want.

Normally you overwrite existing settings because what is the use of other ones .
But you can e.g. set variables there you later on use in tfu_upload.php or in a plugin.

You looked at the one from TWG. There I have the flash in the frontend and in the administration. And there you have different rights and settings.

There is not further documentation because normally you write custom code in this file. if you look at the one from JFU. This looks quite different because there I pass the parameters from the Joomla session.
