I am in the middle of implementing this and would love to have the auto created folders with the user's name instead of their joomla user id. Specifically I would like this to pull from the user's community builder name. I would also like for the email being sent out to put in their name instead of the userid.

Has anyone done this before with some code they would generously share? Any wisdom you might share before I start shredding away at the code?

you can use the user login for the directory - simply select this in the profile.

and for the e-mail the user is is not used - normally this is the user login as well.
But you can easily create your own plugin for the e-mail. the user dislpay name is available too - check the log plugin how to get at the data.

You can use the latest build from JFU 2.10.7 (from tonight).
There I have added the option to select the name too.

I appreciate the quick response and I understand what you are referencing but I should have been more clear in my initial post. I don't want the user login or userid for the directory. I would like the directory to be to use the user's real name that they typed into their profile within community builder.

I am using this so that I can easily find photos that clients have uploaded for me to process and knowing their username or userid would be a major pain compaired to finding their real name.

You can now use the real name which is shown in the user manager.

If the community builder is using his own structure you have to read this value and use this in the site part of JFU.
