I can confirm that changing the admin password is not possible!

I have changed rights on admin/.config/.htusers.php but nothing happens!

Could you please check it?

Thanks,

Dimitris.

Hi,

I just checked at the demo and on my local system.
works fine.

Does it say:
User file is writeable
on the user administration page ?

check the xml/_mydebug.out file - are here any messages?

/Michael

It says that the file is writable (Green color)

However, it does not accept the password change. (insists on saying that I have to change the admin password)

Here is the last message in mydebug

03.03.2006 20:56:23 - ERROR 2048 in dist/photos/admin/.include/fun_users.php, line 109: Only variables should be assigned by reference

Hi,

I could reproduce it with 5.1.1 !

There was some code that was not 5.1.x conform - i changed this.

Please redownload and exchange the
admin/.include/fun_users.php

thanks for the hint !

/Michael

hmmm.

You have any output in the xml/_mydebug.out?

I only have 5.1.1 - Is there any way to access this server?

change the permission of this file (.config/.htusers.php) to 777.

Seems the admin does not detect properly if the file is writeable.
