I can delete files, Create folders, rename folders, rename files.

If I try to upload a file, I receive a 401 error

I can't seem to post information due to an anti-spam rule about URLs, though I'm not using any URLs

I am using a basic AuthType on the twg directory, this seems to be the conflict.

The documentation on using login = auth, and htpusers is a little lacking. Any pointers on what I can do to get this working?

Using TFU integrated with TWG
Version 2.10.7 freeware
No debug file

you need direct access to the tfu folder. create a .htaccess file in this folder where you allow access to this directoy only.

With TWG you cannot use login=auth anyway. This yould not help you here.

That did it, thanks.

Added:

AllowOverride None

to:

/<twg install>/admin/upload/.htaccess

Upload now works, thanks, now to tweak some Allow/Deny's there as well to make sure it's still locked down.

actually never mind, I forgot I had disabled my authconfig stuff and tested with it still disabled.

Adding the above .htaccess disables even the ability to create directories, etc. So now I'm not sure what I need to put into the .htaccess file to make it work.
