Hello,

Im currently in the processing of doing a clean install of twg for a couple of reasons, but also to get the latest version. Before i do it, is there any way i can split the cache directory? There's ~30k photos in my gallery and the cache dir is huge! Its taken ages to remove it and im imagining ages to recreate it so i thought id ask first. Perhaps a different cache for each album or similar?

Also, i may have missed this, but is there anyway i can add support for sharing a photo to facebook?

Cheers
Simon :)

Any ideas?

you can decide if you have a folder based cache dir or the default. You can simply copy the cache to the new install. But then you also copy cache images which are maybe not needed anymore.

Thankyou. Do you know what's causing the ratings and big nav to be wierd? Ive set $show_image_rating to false, and nav to dhtml but it still shows the same?

No - I'm not sure why this can happen. Was it working before?

Yeah, it was working fine. All i did was delete everything but the pictures folder, then upload everything from the clean version, followed by my_config. In the past thats always worked, but this time it didnt. I am assuming it's something to do with a setting in my config but im not sure what would be causing it. Ive changed the ones i thought and its still there :s

Cheers for your help

This should normally work. Are you sure you used the full version and not only the patch?

Yeah, it was the full version. I tried the patch and it did the same thing. I thought id broke something so went with the clean install.

erm, just tried it.

Not using a my_config solves the rating problem since it doesnt try and display anything. However, it means all the ordering, colours etc that i used are not there either. It just looks like the standard twg. Guess that means something in my_config is no longer compatible :( ?

Normally not - You can send me your my_config.php by e-mail and I'll try it on my system.
