I have a Godaddy dedicated server Running CentOS 6.2 PHP.5.3.3 and have adjsted all my settings and still get a timeout about about 2-3 minutes... i can't seem to get this resolved.

I have set the max execution times, max lifetime,
/etc/httpd/conf.d/fcgid.conf also set to 1GB

I have set the max_execution_time and session.cache_expire to 36000.

are running the domain as a FastCGI module for PHP. As such, the upload/timeout limits are controlled by a different configuration file. I have updated the fcgid.conf with the correct parameters set and have restarted Apache.

My settings are:

The maximum size of one file is restricted to 48828.125 kB and by PHP to 6G
The maximum execution time is 36000 seconds

Im getting "error: io" now .. any clue what this can be caused by?

Yes, i do have that enabled.I don't see the debug for that error:io file, only files that were successful.

I have my cap to 6gb with timing checked thoroughly.. can this be my server running out of memory? or is this a config error possibly?

Have you checked your server log. If nothing appears is the upload debug then the files does not reach the php.

About your settings. I don't think you have 6GB set. How big are the files that failed? You might hit a boundary of the webserver. Check the howto 4 again for the values you can also check.

how big is the file?

Do you have a 64 bit php? Because otherwise 2 GB is the maximum you an configure. Everything above does not make sense or even causes errors.
