I would like to disable the expanded menu by using my_config file.
How can I do it ?

Right now, I just use // to hide the 2 lines in index.php file but it's not a good way in case of update.

which expanded menu do you mean?
The album explorer on the left? This can be simply turned of by configuration.

Yes I suppose, its name is album explorer. See the image attached.

In this case, maybe I can turned it off by configuration panel as you said. The problem is that, since some months and suddendly, I can't access to all the tabs but only the first one (Individual).

Nothing happend when clicking on the others (Image, Parameters, Watermarks, Additional). An idea about that ?

Seems like a Javascript error in the administration. Because you move to the other tabs wit JS.
But you still can enter any parameter manually in my_config.php.

You might just update to the new version 1.8.9 in the forum to get a running version again.

I got the new version 1.8.9 one week ago but nothing changed...

But you can still make your changes directly in my_config.php.

As I said. If the tabs don't work you either have Javascript not enabled or a Javascript error does exist.
Sometimes this even happens if your server does include some code to e.g. add some adds.

The tabs do work in all browsers I have tested. So without more information it's hard to tell something what is wrong on your install.

I found in config.php / my_config.php how to disable the album tree. This topic is closed.
