I've installed TWG 1.5 and all is working well (almost).

The idea was to use this as a gallery for my corp/guild for screenshots taken in the game we play. Screenshots are saved as .png files. Problem is when I upload those files they don't show in the gallery. Other files seems to work ok.

Any suggestions to why this is?

There is no problem uploading files and I can see the files in the folder when I use the uploader or TWGXplorer, just not in the gallery. It says 0 images.

That crossed my mind, but asking 20 members (and growing) to change the format of the images they upload might discurage them from using the gallery... It might be that not all of them know how to do it.

I would rather try to find a solution to the problem. But as my php knowlige equals 0, I hope to get some advice to help me on the way.

"change to JPG" what kind of reply is that =/

It dosent really solve anything, I for one dont applaude the idea of having to rename my png files to jpg, and then having to make a workaround in the code, just to make that work.

The proper thing to do, IMO, would make it so that TWG actually supports .png equally compared to the other formats it supports?

Anyone bothered making it to actually work with .png files?

very few people use png for the images they take with their camera - therefore I choose png only as workaround - if you don't use any pngs for any twg features you can simply extend the file filter in the filefunctions.inc.php. (adding one line!)
