What if I move the iframe to the same level as the wp installation? Then its on the same domain and should work, rignt? Woul Í need to remove the script ör change my code in any way for it to work like that?

Hi,

I don't know at this code is your code. But moving both to the same domain is a good idea.
You can actually remove the stuff for the external workaround.
than you can configure everything in the shortcode.

Best, Michael

The saga continues...

I have now moved the iframe contents into the root, so now my folders look like this

Root
* wp-folder (name: legstadaleit)
* iframe-folder (name: tng)

What I want is mapping iframe url and auto-size iframe.

My code is:

Code:
[advanced_iframe securitykey="xxxxx" src="http://www.hafdal.dk/tng/cemeteries.php" use_shortcode_attributes_only="true" id="legstadaleit" height="800" width="100%" map_parameter_to_url="page"  add_iframe_url_as_param="same"]

As I understand it
Code:
map_parameter_to_url="page" add_iframe_url_as_param="same"
should achieve mapping iframe and
Code:
onload_resize="true"
should achieve auto-size. Right?

I have removed
Code:
<script>document.domain='hafdal.dk';</script>
from footer.php and index.php and after that I could view the media that previously gave the error:
Quote:
Error: Permission denied to access property "document"
[Learn More]showmedia.php:158:5
Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at http://hafdal.dk/legstadaleit/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php. (Reason: CORS header ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ missing).(unknown)
Use of getPreventDefault() is deprecated. Use defaultPrevented instead.jquery.min.js:2:40351
Expected ‘none’, URL, or filter function but found ‘alpha(’. Error in parsing value for ‘filter’. Declaration dropped.showmedia.php
Error in parsing value for ‘height’. Declaration dropped.

But mapping parameter to url and auto-size does not work :( Check out http://hafdal.dk/legstadaleit/gagnagrunnur/?lang=is

I only get "Error establishing a database connection"

Please note that Javascript does stop working if you have other errors on the page! So the errors you have now can cause that the auto height does not work anymore...

Best, Michael

/hafdal.dk and www.hafdal.dk are different domains for the browser!
you need to use with www or without on both!

Best,
Michael

Hello again

It seems to be working, except on the starting iframe, url: http://www.hafdal.dk/legstadaleit/database/ gets added ?page=undefined to it so it looks like this: http://www.hafdal.dk/legstadaleit/database/?page=undefined

Is there any way to not get this "undefined" added? Because it makes the page with the iframe un-bookmarkable.

My code looks like this:
Code:
[advanced_iframe securitykey="xxxx" src="http://www.hafdal.dk/tng/cemeteries.php" use_shortcode_attributes_only="true" id="legstadaleit" height="800" width="100%" map_parameter_to_url="page"  add_iframe_url_as_param="same" onload_resize="true"]

Thanks for your help!

Hai,

The samples are always a good starting point to see what happens.
I had some domain issues too but then decided to always use the external workaround which always works!

Next to this I want to advice you to spend a few bucks to buy the pro-version, it is a greta piece of software, has much more features and next to this, Machael earns some money to for his extensive and great support!

Regards, Marc
