I have just started to use Advanced iFrame and it is working perfectly. I was amazed by how easy it was to set-up.
I am inserting an iFrame into a number of different pages within my website. I am using Elementor short code widget in WordPress.

Within each iFrame I am showing an entire website page and I would like to have it automatically scroll on interaction by the visitor. Preferably it would scroll when the visitor moves the mouse onto the iFrame area or the second choice would be for the content of the iFrame to automatically scroll after loading.

Is this possible? If yes, which is the best way to do this? Would I add some code to the short code or is this a change within Advanced iFrame settings?

I very much look forward to help with this little problem.

Thanks in advance.

Where should is scroll to? I have a feature that is scrolls to the top of the page or the iframe if a user goes to the next page.

Best, Michael

Hello Michael, thank you for your response. :D

I made a short video of another site where they are doing exactly what I am wanting to do.

https://youtu.be/O2x0HTAAxDo

1.) When the user moves their mouse over the iFrame the content of the iFrame automatically scrolls. The user does not scroll, it is automatic.
2.) Then, when the user moves the mouse away the content of the iFrame automatically returns to the top.

Is this possible? If yes, which is the best way to do this? Would I add some code to the short code or is this a change within Advanced iFrame settings?

Best regards. Nigel.

I would see this as a feature you implement IN the iframe. You cannot do this outside if you are not on the same domain.
So how is your setup?

Best, Michael

I would say yes. Not really sure how yet but I think with a couple of events and Js a custom solution should be possible. Please contact me directly to continue...

Best, Michael
