Hi,

I use v.1.4, and want to upgrade to 1.5.5.

I downloaded your installer to Windows PC, unziped and uploaded to my webserver.

After running install.php, and it said successfully. But when I ran index.php, it said "powered by TWG" was modified. I did not do any modification or change configuration, why did I receive this message?

Thanks.

Vu

check if there is a twg.lic.php file in the main directory.
Maybe I have uploaded the installer with my local testlicense that does not work except on my system.

and check if you have uploaded everything - is there a file called counter/_mydebug.out ? if yes - check whats in there ;).

Try the normal zip version too - sometimes the installer cannot detect all settings of the server any has maybe set some rights not correctly.

There is no twg.lic.php in main directory and counter/_mydebug.out files.

Do I need to install from the zipped version? I like to test TWG as brand new installation first before upgrading.

99.5% of TWG is free if you like to use it - please try the zip version first.

Please let me know if you have any problems with this version.

With the zipped verson, I stll have the same problem of popped up message box "TWG removed or modified".
I don't see any licence*.php in both versions in the root directory.
Maybe you program checks timestamps which were modfied when I uloaded the files (?).

I tested and it worked fine for me.

No popup. Have you changed something meanwhile?

I still have popup messagebox.

Maybe you still have the license file in your browser cache ?
Clear all offline file and browser cache, then try again.

license file is not cached in the client. It's only on the server

I tried with ie, ff and Opera - no problems.
Do ou have a firewall or popupblocker that filters the logo at the bottom!

Is there a logo at the bottom? like on my demo on the website?
You can set "show logo as text" in the config! try this setting.

I tried

$show_powered_by_twg_as_text=true;

and it worked.

Thank you for your patience & support.

I uploaded a paranoma picture in the folder "Favorites" for testing.

After I click the folder, it displays a whole picture nicely. When I click the small picture, I expect it open a new window which show real size picture. But twg only shows picture with different zoom scale ?

Do I need to change configuration so that it displays full-size picture ?

Thanks.

Also, it seems TWG always resizes the pictures even if the real size of picture is smaller than the displayed one. In the other words, TWG never displays the real size.

Please correct if I'm wrong.

you are wrong - depends on your configuration :).

if the detail images are resized depends on
$resize_only_if_too_big
and
$small_pic_size

read the description of this settings.

And the popup is a resizing popup - means if the image is too big for your screen its shown smaller that it fits - if it is smaller the popup shows the original size. (Thei mage is always the original - but resized in Javascript - if you woild save this image with right click it would save the original).
but you can chenge the behaviour too.
set $open_download_in_browser=true and $open_as_popup=false;
